To use this template, do as follows : 1. put the TULIP.XLT file wherever your copy of Excel keeps its templates (quickest way to find out is to just search for any existing XLT files). 2. Launch Excel and select File~New 3. Choose TULIP.XLT. This creates a new spreadsheet based on TULIP. 4. Add your run title, organiser name(s), mobile number etc. 5. Add the cumulative miles figures for each junction - everything else is calculated for you 6. The box under each tulip picture is for signpost notes. 7. Double-click each picture box in turn. This opens the Word picture editor to allow you to create your tulip diagrams. The pre-existing gray rectangle shows you the limits your drawing must fit within to stay inside the tulip box. 8. If you want to add any more text to the sheet, remove protection from it by clicking Tools ~ Protection ~ Unprotect Sheet Alternatively you could just use the sheet for calculating the trip mileages, then print it out, draw the piccies by hand and then photocopy. Seems a bit neolithic, but it's often quicker than struggling with Microsofts pathetic drawing tools. Enjoy! Bob Moore
